Household hazardous waste is made up of residues from a variety of products such as oils, paints, solvents and cleaning products.

These products should not be thrown to the garbage, for they are highly polluting

What to do with H.H.W.?

These refuse are not to be disposed in your green or blue bins. Brome-Missisquoi MRC resident, can dispose of HHW at the appropriate locations and without endangering the environment, the main site in the area is at the technical landfill site in Cowansville.


This service is free for Brome-Missisquoi citizens with proof of residence identity cards are necessary and, of course, residential residue only.


The Regie will undertake to recycle them or dispose of them in a more ecological manner.
